One for Orphans encourages anyone interested in getting involved who cannot donate to start a personal fundraiser! To start a personal fundraiser, first choose your fundraiser. It can be an event, to honor someone, a special occasion, or just to connect with the One for Orphans community. Next, define an achievable goal and send us your fundraising page. We recommend GoFundMe. Finally, share your fundraiser with anyone who can help! Every dollar raised can help change lives. 

One for Orphans welcomes anyone willing to donate their time for a cause that everyone can come together as a community to support and have a positive impact on the lives of orphans. According to Orphan’s Lifeline, poverty is a major contributor to orphans, and along with supporting and empowering orphans, our goal is to prevent future orphans, and you can help. One for Orphans urges everyone to call or email their local representative to stop cuts to anti-poverty programs like the ACA, SNAP, the HUD, and non-defense discretionary programs. More information can be found about these cuts here. To find your local representative and their contact information, enter your zip code in the Directory of Representatives.
